Privacy Policy

The app processes GPS/BLE measurements (speed, coordinates, accuracy, time, distance, charts and sampled routes), Google sign-in/profile data (name, email, account ID, date of birth, gender and optional profile content), vehicle settings/images, History, achievements, comments/interactions/reports, Shop orders and delivery details, and notification tokens. Measurement does not require an account; signed-in valid sessions sync to account History. Public profile, Rank and Community fields may be visible to other users.

Cloudflare Workers/D1/R2 provide authentication, data storage and media. Google OAuth provides sign-in; the app does not store Google passwords. Firebase Cloud Messaging processes notification tokens and installation/device information needed for notifications. OpenStreetMap receives map-tile requests, which may include IP and displayed map-area information. We do not sell data. Data is transferred over HTTPS.

Bluetooth/Nearby Devices connects YST hardware; precise location supports phone GPS and may be needed for BLE scanning on older Android. Internet supports maps and online features; notification and vibration permissions support alerts and feedback. The app does not request background location, contacts, camera, microphone or SMS. Retained Android ad components can add advertising-identifier permissions.

Rank and contests

Phone GPS can be used for measurement and History. Public Rank, public Personal Best posts and contests accept only eligible results with a valid signature from a YST device linked to its current owner. Watching an advertisement does not grant access to Rank or contests.

Orders after account deletion

After account deletion, we keep a minimal order record, accessible only to administrators, with an active-storage retention limit of seven days from account deletion. It contains the order reference, items, amounts, payment/order status and recipient contact/address details needed to resolve fulfillment or disputes. It excludes the account/email identifier, customer notes and order-history logs. Expiry cleanup runs every five minutes and is scheduled before the seven-day limit; outages or processing failures can delay physical removal. Expired records are excluded from administrator retrieval.

Recovery copies

Data removed from active storage may remain in provider recovery copies for up to a further 30 days. This recovery period runs from the applicable restore point, not necessarily from account deletion. A record kept for nearly seven days in active storage may therefore remain in recovery history afterward. Account deletion does not immediately erase every backup copy.

Device transfers

For new device transfers, the device ownership record retains the current owner link, device identity and signing keys, and current warranty state. The transfer no longer creates previous-owner history or retains the previous owner in that ownership link. Historical ownership records created before this change have not been removed. This does not mean all unrelated account activity or provider recovery copies are erased by a transfer.

Data deletion

Account deletion removes the account and dependent active records and attempts to remove recognized account-owned avatar, cover, vehicle and achievement media. Old unreferenced media and records in separate systems, including Tester Spin or voucher/security records, may require individual review. We respond within seven days and complete processing within 30 days after receiving enough information to verify the account; this request-handling period is separate from the order and backup retention periods.

Advertising components

The Android v89 release includes Google Mobile Ads and UMP components. Removing phone Rank eligibility does not remove those components. Google may process IP addresses, device or account identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. Installed releases may still include these components even when phone Rank is unavailable; removing the Rank entry point does not establish that all SDK data processing has stopped.

Age and content

The app is for people aged 16 and over. Public nudity or sexually explicit content, graphic real-world violence, harassment and other abusive content are prohibited. Users can report content or users and block users. Reports are reviewed by the app operator; user content is not guaranteed to be pre-screened.
